We
have the only true distributing microbrewery
in the state of Rhode Island. We currently operate
a 10 barrel brewhouse and six 20 barrel fermentors
in an industrial park in Middletown.
We
welcome visitors to our brewery Monday through
Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Here, you are welcome to shop from our collection
of Newport Storm gear and buy or refill a growler.
Growlers are 64oz. jugs and are the only package
in which we sell beer directly from our brewery.
You can choose from a variety of beer styles
that we currently have on tap in our tasting
area.A
full growler of beer costs $10 and can be refilled
for $5.
If
you want to see our brewing equipment and
learn about how we make Newport Storm beer,
you can do that in one of two ways:
Friday's
at Six Brewery Tour and Tasting Every Friday
we open our doors at 5:45 PM for a public
tour. Due to space constraints, we can only
admit a limited number of people on Friday's
at Six. Nobody under 21 is admited to our
brewery at this time. Once inside you can
sample a variety of draught Newport Storm
beers, go on a guided tour of our brewing
facility, and/or shop from our collection
of Storm gear. You can also buy or refill
a growler (see above). The tour starts at
6:00 PM and lasts about an hour.
Private Tour and Tasting We give private tours
and tastings to groups larger than ten people.
It is a great choice for corporate outings,
club social events, or groups of friends. These
must be scheduled at least a week in advance
and are subject to brewery personel availabilty.
The more warning you give us, the more likely
we are to be able to accomodate you. These can
be scheduled for weekends but not for Friday
afternoons or evenings. Nobody under 21 is admited
to our brewery at this time. The private tour is a $50 base
charge and an additional $5.00 per person which gets
each visitor a Newport Storm pint
glass.
